Changes to the download of fishery activity (2026-04-24)

The download of fishery activity data will be moved from the Fisheryactivity app to BarentsWatch Data.

  • Several filter options will be added to the new download.
  • The support for the "SHAPE-ZIP" format will be discontinued and will be replaced by GeoJSON (newline delimited).
  • The following columns will be removed from the CSV download
    • Tooltype Name: was equivalent to the "Tooltype Code" column
    • Source: was not used
    • Last changed DateTime: was not well defined, was either "Setup DateTime" or "Removed DateTime"
    • Length: not necessary, calculated directly from the "Geometry" column
    • StartingPoint Lat: not necessary, calculated directly from the "Geometry" column
    • StartingPoint Lon: not necessary, calculated directly from the "Geometry" column
